presentation on NASA\u2019s new Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) at Monday\u2019s Science Caf\u00e9 meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on a collision-oriented asteroid deflection strategy, the DART satellite designed to track down and make contact with the Dimorphos asteroid this coming Monday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adams illustrated the mission with an analogy: \u201cIt\u2019s like smacking a vending machine into the Pyramid of Giza.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWill it deflect the Pyramid of Giza?
