The Fort Hays State University Alumni Association is pleased to share the addition of 13 new members to its Alumni Association Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New\nmembers include Ashley Adorante, Overland Park; Clint Albers, Olathe; Dr.\nChristie Brungardt, Council Grove; Jenna Dempewolf, Gorham; Shane DeWald,\nOlathe; Josh Dreher, Hays; Baron Green, Hays; Alma Hidalgo-Blankinship,\nWichita; Bryson Homman, St. Joseph, Mo.; Dr. Kaley Klaus, Hays; Brian Moore,\nHays; Regan Reif, Great Bend; and Haydee Zamora, Hays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashley\nAdorante, FHSU 2001 alumna of Overland Park, serves as outreach coordinator for\nThe University of Kansas Cancer Center. In 2020, Adorante received FHSU\u2019s Nita\nLandrum Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clint\nAlbers, 1999 and 2001 graduate, is the assistant superintendent of high school\neducation for USD 233 in Olathe. At Fort Hays State, Albers competed on the\nfootball team as an offensive lineman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr.\nChristie Brungardt, 2001 alum, is enjoying retirement with her husband, Curt,\nin Council Grove. Brungardt was a professor of leadership studies at Fort Hays\nState University, co-founder of Jana\u2019s Campaign, and recipient of FHSU\u2019s 2019\nDistinguished Service Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jenna\nDempewolf, Gorham, earned dual degrees from FHSU in 2012 and works as a\nfinancial advisor with Werth Wealth Management LLC of Hays. During her time at\nFHSU, Dempewolf served as a senator with the Student Government Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shane\nDeWald, 2001 graduate, of Olathe, serves as the executive director for the Blue\nValley Recreation Commission. He is a former pole vaulter with the FHSU track\nand field team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josh\nDreher, graduate of 2009, Hays, serves as senior vice president of commercial\nlending at the Bank of Hays. In 2021, he was the recipient of FHSU\u2019s Nita\nLandrum Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baron\nGreen, 2019 alum, Hays, is a staff accountant for Adams Brown, LLC. He is a\nmember of the Hays Young Professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alma\nHidalgo-Blankinship, alum of 2013 and 2015, Wichita, is a scholarship program\nmanager at the Rudd Foundation. Previously, Hidalgo-Blankinship served as an\nadmissions counselor at Fort Hays State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bryson\nHomman, a 2021 graduate, is an interior designer for Goldberg Group Architects\nin St. Joseph, Mo. As an FHSU student, he was active in Sigma Chi fraternity,\nwas an admissions student ambassador, and was crowned homecoming king in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaley\nKlaus, alum of 2012 and 2015, Hays, is an assistant professor of leadership\nstudies and an international coordinator at FHSU. She is a Hays native.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian\nMoore, a 1999 graduate, Hays, is a residential project manager for Roofmasters.\nHe is a former pitcher for the FHSU baseball team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regan\nReif, 2013 alum, Great Bend, serves as a strategic marketing manager for The\nUniversity of Kansas Health System. She is the 2021 recipient of FHSU\u2019s Young\nAlumni Award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haydee\nZamora, alum of 2018 and 2020, Hays, is the multi-cultural admissions counselor\nat FHSU and a former homecoming queen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’m\nvery excited about the future of our work with these volunteers,\u201d said Carolyn\nTatro, Fort Hays State Alumni Association alumni engagement strategist. \u201cWe\nhave an enthusiastic group of individuals who are passionate about FHSU and\nadvancing the mission of Tiger Nation. Each individual brings a wealth of new\nperspectives with their unique backgrounds and experiences, and I’m truly\nlooking forward to working with them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These\n13 new additions will join existing Alumni Association Board members Elizabeth\nGerber \u201999, \u201901, \u201903, Scott City; Dean Lavielle \u201971, \u201993, Newton; Brooke Oleen\nTieperman \u201901, \u201901, Denver, Colo.; Jimmy Brough \u201912, \u201913, Topeka; Tara Risewick\n\u201904, Norton; Ryan Ruda \u201997, \u201999, Holcomb; Tomi Schwandt \u201907, Hays; and Derrick\nTice \u201996, St. Francis. Michael Slattery \u201973, \u201977, \u201989, Hays, board chair, will\nbe succeeded by board chair-elect, Chelsey Ladd \u201908, \u201908, Hays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established\nin 1916, the Fort Hays State University Alumni Association serves more than\n70,000 FHSU graduates who live throughout the United States and 77 countries\nabroad.\n\nAlumni Association Board nominations are\naccepted as positions become available.
