Fort Hays State University\u2019s College of Health and Behavioral Sciences announced recent student inductees into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nPsi Chi Honor Society recognizes and promotes excellence in the science and\napplication of psychology. Applicants must meet grade point average criteria as\nwell as rank in the top 30 percent of psychology students to be considered for\ninduction to the honor society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psi\nChi rewards its members annually with various awards and grants programs.\nAdditionally, members are eligible to apply for the Psi Chi scholarship program\nthat was introduced in 2015. Inductees are bestowed lifetime memberships to the\nhonor society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select\nFHSU psychology students, attending virtually and on-campus, displayed\noutstanding academic achievement in the program. Recognized for their\ndedication and determination, 23 students were officially inducted into Psi Chi\nin April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese\nstudents are smart, have worked hard, and maintained their GPA through COVID\nand other life situations,\u201d said Dr. Carol Patrick, professor of psychology.\n\u201cThey are to be commended.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
