With several hours remaining, the fundraiser has already had an overwhelming response with more than 430 gifts received. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s one thing we know for\ncertain, it\u2019s that Tiger Nation sticks together,\u201d said Janna Wilkinson,\nDirector of Annual Giving for the FHSU Foundation. \u201cThrough the highs and lows,\nwe have banded together as a family to impact the areas of campus that need\nfinancial support and to support the university we all love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FHSU\u2019s Giving Day was created to raise\nawareness around the various needs of the university, to cultivate new donors,\nand to create an engaging way to raise money for deserving Tigers. Due to the\nsuccess seen in such a short amount of time, as well as the excitement around\nthe promotions being offered, FHSU\u2019s Giving Day fundraising event has been\nextended an additional 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donations will now be counted as part of\nGiving Day through midnight, Friday, April 23. Beyond this date and time,\ndonors will no longer be able to receive the FHSU Giving Day socks or sticker\npromotion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out the numerous incentives,\nmatching gift opportunities, and challenges available, as well as other details\nabout the event, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.FHSUGivingDay.com\">www.FHSUGivingDay.com<\/a>.\nThose who make a gift of at least $10 will receive a cool FHSU sticker, and\nthose who make a gift of at least $25 will receive a pair of Fort Hays State\nUniversity socks, as well as a sticker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt has been a challenging year, and to\nsee the success already generated from Giving Day, emphasizes the family\nenvironment at Fort Hays State University,\u201d Wilkinson said. \u201cPeople truly care\nand want to help students succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With more than 40 specific areas of the\nuniversity that need financial support, there\u2019s truly something for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gifts can be made online by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fwww.FHSUGivingDay.com&amp;c=E,1,5RWrXhXYwg13X0CCDE2z5bRBulAXXVM9YMWWhfnui5hSBb5WNkIgVgHrGM-OaITzuSQZkM04gG_VCBrPP6yKrdfXbFY0h98f5wNFo46nzL4TQsqdMJvq&amp;typo=1\">www.FHSUGivingDay.com<\/a>, by phone, or in person through\nmidnight Friday, April 23.
