Incoming,\nfull-time, freshman Kansas students who qualify for Pell Grants are eligible to\napply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarships cover\nany costs remaining after all other aid, grants and scholarships are applied to\na student\u2019s account. Cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, supplies, and\nroom and board. Preference is given to first-generation and underrepresented\nstudents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who were\nselected for scholarships and chose to attend Fort Hays State are listed by\nhometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ABILENE (67410): <\/strong>Makenna McGivney, a 2020 graduate of Abilene\nHigh School, plans to major in biology (health professions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COUNCIL GROVE (66856):<\/strong> Quintin&nbsp; Combes, a 2020 graduate\nof Lebo High School, plans to major in nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELLIS (67637): <\/strong>Clara Crawford, a 2020 graduate of Ellis High\nSchool, plans to major in early childhood unified education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JENNINGS (67643): <\/strong>Taryn Fleckenstein, a 2020 graduate of Golden\nPlains High School, plans to major in nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SALINA (67401):<\/strong> Kylee Kogler, a 2020 graduate of Southeast of\nSaline High School, plans to major in medical diagnostic imaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaylee\nLovett, a 2020 graduate of Salina South High School, plans to major in nursing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SMITH CENTER (66967): <\/strong>Kendra Maydew, a 2020 graduate of Smith\nCenter High School, plans to major in finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TIPTON (67485): <\/strong>Erica Brummer, a 2020 graduate of Tipton\nCatholic High School, plans to major in health and human performance (exercise\nscience).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHEATON (66521): <\/strong>Laura Krohn, a 2020 graduate of Onaga High\nSchool, plans to major in biology (health professions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who choose to\nattend Wichita State University or Emporia State University are also eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Rudd\nFoundation <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leslie Rudd established\nthe Rudd Foundation in 1998 as a way to honor the Midwestern values that\nstrengthen character and lead to a lifetime of success in business, community\nand family.
