Registration\nis still necessary, but do not select a lunch option. Persons who registered\nbefore the symposium was converted to an online format will be reimbursed if\nthey paid the registration fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Links to the webinar will be emailed to registrants. For\ninformation on how to register, and a link to the registration page, visit the\nOlliff Family Educational Symposium webpage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhsu.edu\/olliff-family-educational-symposium\/index\">https:\/\/www.fhsu.edu\/olliff-family-educational-symposium\/index<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The keynote speaker is Pamela Cornwell, a Licensed Clinical\nMarriage and Family Therapist from St. Francis Ministries. She will launch the\ntheme for this year\u2019s event, \u201cBuilding Resilience: What Is in Your Toolbox?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cornwell has more than 28 years of\nworking with survivors of abuse. She has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from\nWichita State University and a Master of Science in marriage and family therapy\nfrom Friends University in Wichita. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is certified in the Neurosequential\nModel of Therapeutics and Trauma Systems Therapy, and she is a facilitator for\nHealing of Memories workshops. She provides organization-based and\ncommunity-based training on trauma and child development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout her career, Cornwell has\nworked with multi-generational families around sexual abuse, elderly abused as\nchildren and transitioning into nursing home care, and children involved in the\nchild welfare system. In addition, she has participated in several program\nstart-ups, including: Grandparents too Soon, Parents as Teachers for families\nstruggling with sexual abuse, Early Childhood Mental Health, and The Trauma\nRecovery Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is currently the clinical director\nfor trauma practices for St. Francis Ministries, a nonprofit child welfare\norganization.
