In an announcement Monday afternoon, Fort Hays State University President Tisa Mason said classes for on-campus students would be canceled the rest of this week (March 16 to 20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement states the closing will begin at 4:30 p.m. Monday (March 16) and continue through March 20. Spring Break is scheduled for next week at FHSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Classes that are currently online will continue in that format this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The transition to online classes will continue for the period beginning after Spring Break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students living on campus are expected to begin preparations to move home before 5 p.m. Tuesday (March 17). They are asked to bring all personal belongings with them, including textbooks and course material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
