Entrepreneurs in western Kansas once again have a golden\nopportunity to get help getting a new business venture off and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Faulkner Challenge is a business plan competition for entrepreneurs who live in one of 56 counties in the western half of the state. Entry is free for the competition, and $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants are asked to submit a written business plan by\nMarch 20. Plans can be emailed to faulknerchallenge@fhsu.edu<\/a>.\nFor a complete list of guidelines, visit www.fhsu.edu\/cob\/faulkner-challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The plans will be judged, and six finalists will be notified\nMarch 23. The finals of the competition will be April 4 at Brief Space in\ndowntown Hays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The live finals are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Faulkner Challenge is sponsored by Grow Hays, Brief\nSpace and Fort Hays State University\u2019s Robbins College of Business and\nEntrepreneurship.
