MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Fort Hays State Women’s Track and Field squad competed at the Northwest Open on January 24-25. The Tigers had four individuals place in the top three of events in which they participated.

Earning second place finishes in events were Faith Little<\/a> (1,000 meters), Abi Stewart (5,000 meters), and Rohey Singhateh<\/a> (Triple Jump). Summer Kragel<\/a> placed third in the high jump.

Little covered the 1,000 meters in a time of 3:06.52, just behind the winning pace of 3:04.84 by Mia Wilhoit of Baker University. Stewart ran a time of 18:50.09 in the 5,000 meters. Singhateh had a 37’5.25″ effort in the triple jump, and Kragel cleared a height of 5’3″ in the high jump.
