Missouri Southern would go on to take the first set, 25-20, on\na service ace by Alicia Pickett. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tigers opened up the second set with the first point on a service error\nfrom Missouri Southern&#8217;s Morgan Nash. However, the Lions entered a three-point\nswing to own a 3-1 lead. Eshbaugh, Humm,\nand Bartels would be the only Tiger athletes to register points for the\nremainder of the set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FHSU locked up their second consecutive set victory on Humm&#8217;s 18th kill of\nthe match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holding their first 2-1 lead since facing off against No. 14 Northwest\nMissouri State on Nov. 2, the Tigers battled to open the final frame. Neither\nthe Lions or the Tigers were able to establish much separation until the Black\nand Gold earned five straight points, headlined by three kills from freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=http%3a%2f%2ffhsuathletics.com%2fservices%2fgo.ashx%2fe4e17f11-449e-4306-b942-29065e86c79f%3felinkdata%3d140239&amp;c=E,1,cLI6B2XAkZRSaW5fl-jneLPA0UHLwuOwbb1f57NQp2r4-CylEtoOEATk51nCgTN3soqUgR0xTzYmfuIMsHlcc1QHSejTLTIcMZ6bxNOHInayWvT-&amp;typo=1\">Morgan\nChristiansen<\/a>. This created their first lead since a 6-5 score\nearlier in the set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Missouri Southern evened the game back up at 21 points each. A bad set by\nthe Lions&#8217; Morgan Nash and an attack error by Shaylon Sharp created a small\nwindow of separation for the Tigers. Bartels was responsible for 11 kills on the day while Ellis and\nChristiansen trailed her with five each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All three of the seniors honored on Saturday afternoon saw action in the\nmatch.
