\tIt\u2019s fall, it\u2019s Halloween, and it\u2019s pumpkin season! Now is the time to get your pumpkin just in time for Halloween. Hays has many wonderful patches to find your perfect pumpkin. One patch that is locally known is Pa\u2019s Pumpkin Patch.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\tLoad up the whole family and head two miles south of Hays to enjoy an afternoon of pumpkins, alpacas, and navigating a corn maze. Children can enjoy sitting on the hay-rack ride through the rows of pumpkins while they try and find the perfect choice for jack-o-lattern carving.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For people looking to be scared during the Halloween season, the corn maze at Pa’s Pumpkin Patch will be haunted October 26 – 27 from when the sun goes down to 11 pm. Tickets for the haunted maze can be purchased on-site.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission is free for all ages to Pa’s Pumpkin Patch, but you will still want to bring a little money to take your great pumpkin find home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\tSigma Sigma Sigma had a blast at Pa\u2019s while they used the loving environment to strengthen their bonds with their fellow sorority sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\tIsabel Baringer, a sorority member, wanted to express the emotional experience she had with her newly found sisters,

\t\u201cI went with my sorority (Sigma Sigma Sigma) to pa\u2019s pumpkin patch this last Sunday and the weather honestly could not have been better,\u201d Baringer said. \u201cWe just took pictures for around an hour and pet animals and sorted through pumpkins. It was honestly a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All varying ages can have fun. Maggie Moeder told Hays Post that her family decided to open the pumpkin patch on a whim. She says her dad (or Pa to Maggie\u2019s son) came up with the idea and the family rallied behind it.  This year, Pa\u2019s will have pumpkins, gourds, a carving\/painting station, and alpacas. There is also an arrangement of decorations, including a giant pumpkin, where families can take pictures at no cost.

\tPa\u2019s Pumpkin patch doesn\u2019t plan on leaving either. Moeder said they had quite a few visitors this weekend and everyone seemed to enjoy their visit to Pa\u2019s.

\u201cA lot of people asked if we\u2019ve always been here,\u201d Moeder said to Hays Post. \u201cA lot of people said it was good.  We\u2019re hoping it gets busier as it gets closer to Halloween. Word of mouth is happening a lot.\u201d
