Bryson Homman, is one of Fort Hays State University\u2019s Homecoming finalists representing Sigma Chi Fraternity.

\u201cSigma Chi chose me to represent them because they thought that I exemplified the chapter on campus through my involvement and extracurricular activities in a positive manner. I am honored to represent them because I love being able to tell others my experiences and memories within my chapter,\u201d Homman said.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This particular organization has its focus set on having structure and moral ideals for college.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSigma Chi has truly shaped me into the gentleman and leader I am today,\u201d Homman said.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Homman said never actually received a campus tour before arriving at FHSU in the Fall of 2017. He expresses his love for our shared spirit on FHSU\u2019s campus through involvement with his peers in several on and off-campus activities.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI came in not knowing anything, and I can truly say that choosing FHSU was the best decision of my life,\u201d Homman said.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing that stuck with him was at pre-enrollment; Dr. Joey Linn said: “At Fort Hays you will not just be a number, you are a new member of the Tiger family.” Which is true through and through, when you come onto campus you are filled with astounding support from students and faculty.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBeing selected as a candidate means more than words can describe. Having the honor and privilege to represent not only my fraternity but the University as a whole is such a moving experience,\u201d Homman said.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fort Hays has so many amazing events coming up this week, from the parade to the return of FHSU\u2019s Alumni.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy favorite part of Homecoming is the alumni. Every year FHSU Alumni returns back to the Fort to “re-live” their glory days and spread the FHSU Spirit,\u201d Homman said. \u201cI love interacting and listening to the memories and insights that they have from their days as well as inform them of the innovation and improvements, we are striving for at Fort Hays.\u201dVoting for the title of King and Queen will take place from 9:00 AM October 9th to noon October 11th on TigerLink or in Memorial Union from 11am to 1 PM on October 9th and 10th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
