{"id":46605,"date":"2019-08-23T11:44:18","date_gmt":"2019-08-23T16:44:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=46605"},"modified":"2019-08-23T11:44:22","modified_gmt":"2019-08-23T16:44:22","slug":"%ef%bb%bfhays-youth-orchestra-to-begin-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=46605","title":{"rendered":"\ufeffHays youth orchestra to begin season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By UNIVERSITY RELATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hays Youth Orchestra\u2019s fall season will start up at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, in Fort Hays State University\u2019s Malloy Hall for an orientation meeting. <br> <br> All students between sixth and eighth grade who play the violin, viola, cello or bass are welcome to attend. <br> <br> Younger students are also welcome to participate with the approval of the director. Older students are invited to participate as assistants and mentors. <br> <br> Shawn Demuth will serve as this year\u2019s conductor. He is a graduate of the FHSU Department of Music.
