{"id":45034,"date":"2019-04-08T11:24:06","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T16:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=45034"},"modified":"2019-04-08T11:24:08","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T16:24:08","slug":"local-students-among-vip-student-ambassadors-named-at-fort-hays-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=45034","title":{"rendered":"Local students among VIP Student Ambassadors named at Fort Hays State"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BY UNIVERSITY RELATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nHAYS, Kan. \u2013 Local students are among the 25 who will serve as VIP Student Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 academic school year at Fort Hays State University.&nbsp;<br>Three returning ambassadors will be joined by 22 new ambassadors.&nbsp;<br>Ambassadors serve as official representatives for FHSU at a variety of special events, including Homecoming, athletic activities, presidential dinners and other gatherings. Students must be full-time undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5 grade point average and be able to assist with nine to 10 events per year.&nbsp;<br>For more information on the VIP Student Ambassadors, contact Janette Meis, event planner and communication specialist in the Office of the President, at 785-628-4232 or<a href=\"mailto:j_meis@fhsu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">j_meis@fhsu.edu<\/a>.&nbsp;<br>Ambassadors, with classifications, majors and high schools, are listed by hometown.&nbsp;<br><strong>COLWICH (67030):&nbsp;<\/strong>Cole Murray, a junior majoring in health and human performance (sport and exercise therapy), is an Andale High School graduate.&nbsp;<br><strong>COZAD, Neb.
