The event was hosted by Pittsburg State Friday and Saturday.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=http%3a%2f%2ffhsuathletics.com%2fservices%2fgo.ashx%2f0cbff068-2c9c-44da-9a50-02761ebd7f6e%3felinkdata%3d128090&amp;c=E,1,sTwJCq31JiVyYmGbApgL2rv4kcxkuNnIkFnReohEEHimI_lREPBMq0fZKtPunXXGQ_8vV7yo8ea8zlmjpFHGr2MUpjCR5pT222qVmVjAPKE,&amp;typo=1\">Kolt Newell<\/a> captured his first career indoor All-American honor after placing eighth in the high jump. The senior completed a 6 feet, 8 inches jump to secure his All-American status. During last season&#8217;s outdoor nationals, Newell claimed second team All-American honors with his 12<sup>th<\/sup> place finish.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=http%3a%2f%2ffhsuathletics.com%2fservices%2fgo.ashx%2fcf6569d1-76d7-4e79-97d0-3fa6d3d67d91%3felinkdata%3d128090&amp;c=E,1,gYH1-baB24amopcKlS62tysHDYLYV3xiLhUHt8rnhsZW_HpuNYuHxqSzueqRUOcRQepWd4aO5Vsawj41I78yd_5RbB_4R9Z8yP3AapX4&amp;typo=1\">Brett Meyer<\/a> captured his All-American nod following a fourth place finish in the mile run. The senior clocked a time of 4:12.31 to land on the All-American list. In the preliminary round, Meyer ran a time of 4:09.05, placing him third heading into the finals. Last season, Meyer placed second in the mile to capture All-American honors during his junior year. In total, this was Meyer&#8217;s fifth All-American place combined for both indoor and outdoor track.<br><br> Another athlete who competed on the field was <a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=http%3a%2f%2ffhsuathletics.com%2fservices%2fgo.ashx%2f49954b6c-c517-4fe0-87d4-6bd81bac4704%3felinkdata%3d128090&amp;c=E,1,G2yK-3eOI6UWJ0P-eqkiMBGoZ8zckI6KGGbspJDAWWt7BKf-G1cZaspwPCUOEo7_8hL8ZDH2KFWIS5pEk90nrnOmgtFn4Dg2lb-uenJg&amp;typo=1\">Rohey Singhateh<\/a>, the long female qualifier for Fort Hays State. Singhateh finished in 18<sup>th<\/sup> place in the triple jump, a strong finish for her first season in the event. Singhateh ended her 2019 indoor campaign with a jump of 38 feet, 6 inches.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/linkprotect.cudasvc.com\/url?a=http%3a%2f%2ffhsuathletics.com%2fservices%2fgo.ashx%2f633db229-cb6d-4906-875b-2f389dffb714%3felinkdata%3d128090&amp;c=E,1,AWDUGoP9T5_6o4qGGPF0nIW_IEEzmGeAoc_VWeVOBkst6_E0j8fOQQM-Ny3U9t0l3kUF1gzXQBZkUBjNzvnVl0g1pYR1fqyJohoOr1_w7nl_&amp;typo=1\">Philip Landrum<\/a>, the final male national qualifier for the men, was unable to move into the finals for the 60-meters.
