LINCOLN, Neb. – The Fort Hays State women’s track and field team took to Lincoln, Neb for its final preparations before the MIAA Conference Championships. On the day, Rohey Singhateh<\/a> led the Tigers as she earned another provisional mark. Another highlight also came at the feet of the 4×400 meter relay team who earned a runner-up finish.<\/p>\n Singhateh captured a second place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 38 feet, 4 inches. This mark was strong enough to give Singhateh another provisional on the season. Mariah Hammersmith<\/a> clocked a sixth place finish in the same event with her own jump of 34 feet, 4 inches. Another highlight on the day went to the 4×400 relay team made up of Peri Lange<\/a>, Lyric Holman<\/a>, Lindsay Shupe<\/a> and Shupe managed an individual sixth place finish in the 200-meters with a time of 25.48, and Holman achieved her accomplishment with an eighth place time in the 400-meters at 59.76. Haley George<\/a> placed tenth in the 600-meters with a time of 1:53.12, and Grace Buessing<\/a> came in ninth place in the 800-meters at 2:19.69.<\/p>\n Summer Kragel<\/a> claimed fifth place in the high jump with her jump of 5 feet, 3 inches alongside a ninth place finish from Haley Jones<\/a> at 5 feet, 1 inches.
