Long Jr., now 22 from Denver, had been contacting a teenager through social media in order to meet up with the 14-year-old female.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators learned Long allegedly had been in contact with the teen prior to Nov. 18 as well.<\/p>\n<p>Long was arrested and charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy, electronic solicitation, two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>The electronic solicitation charge involves an alleged incident Nov. 18 via SnapChat, and one indecent solicitation charge involved an allegation from Nov. 13. The aggravated indecent liberties with a child , criminal sodomy and one of the indecent solicitation of a child charges were all from Nov. 14 allegations.<\/p>\n<p>The possession of marijuana charge stems from a search warrant that was issued Nov. 19 by investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Long posted bond and was released from the Ellis County Jail. His next court proceedings in the case are scheduled for January.<\/p>\n<p>Long was a member of the Fort Hays State University football team and played limited minutes this past season.
