Fort Hays State University signed an articulation agreement covering 19 degree programs with Cloud County Community College on Tuesday in Concordia. Cloud County was the seventh institution this year with which the university has signed articulation agreements.<\/p>\n
The agreement will facilitate the seamless transfer of students from Cloud County to Fort Hays State. The university will honor course credit earned under the approved programs for graduates with a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. \nFHSU President Dr. Tisa Mason said she was excited at the opportunity to continue a strong relationship with Cloud County.
\n\u201cFor the last six years, Cloud has been one of our top five schools for transfer students,\u201d Mason said. \u201cYou share with us a strong commitment to academic quality and student success.\u201d
\n\u201cUpdating our transfer agreement with FHSU signifies the strong relationship that we have with the university, and ensures CCCC students will continue to have successful transfer experiences,\u201d said Vice President for Academic Affairs Nancy Zenger-Beneda.
\nZenger-Beneda cited Kansas Board of Regents data that shows Cloud County students who transfer to Fort Hays State have a very high success rate.
\n\u201cI\u2019m very proud of our faculty and their focus on students\u2019 performance and preparation,\u201d said Zenger-Beneda.
