MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Fort Hays State volleyball team dropped the first match of a two-week road trip Friday evening (Sept. 28), coming up short against Northwest Missouri State in straight sets. The Tigers dip to 6-12 on the year and 0-6 in MIAA play, while the Bearcats are now 14-3 and remain perfect in league play at 6-0.<\/p>\n
Isabelle Reynolds<\/a> and Kayla Vitztum<\/a> paced the team with seven kills each, with Tatum Bartels<\/a> and Azlyn Cassaday<\/a> adding six kills apiece. Katie Darnell<\/a> led the team with nine digs while adding 12 assists alongside Bre Becker’s<\/a> team-best 14 assists.<\/p>\n The Tigers compiled a .141 attack percentage, while NWMSU countered with a .375 swing rate.
