The Hays Arts Council\u2019s Fall Gallery Walk features musicians from the Fort Hays State University Music Department and the Hays Symphony Orchestra at the Downtown Hays Pavilion on Friday, Aug. 24.<\/p>\n
Events begin with a hands-on Instrument Petting Zoo for the kids from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
\nThe musicians will perform light classical music as well as jazz works for the entire evening, showcasing talent from faculty, students, and community members.
\nHays Symphony Orchestra Pops performance begins at 7 p.m.
\nMusical highlights include \u201cStars and Stripes\u201d; \u201cAmerica the Beautiful\u201d; Suite No. 1 from \u201cCarmen\u201d; \u201cI\u2019ll Never Stop Loving You\u201d and \u201cCan Can.\u201d
\nHilary Shepard and Mel Sauer will perform a flute duo at 8.
\nAt 8:30, cellists Ben Cline, Cathy Drabkin, Miranda Graves, Megan Rayl, Tanner Callis and Karl Rorstrom will perform \u201cCellissimo.\u201d
