In the latest USTFCCCA Coaches&#8217; Poll released Tuesday (May 1), the men stand at No. 15 with the women in at No. 16.<\/p>\n<p>The FHSU women earned 62.45 points while the men captured 72.94. The points were tabulated from the computer-based system within the poll. On the women&#8217;s side, the Tigers are one of four MIAA programs to earn a mention alongside No. 6 Lincoln, No. 10 Pittsburg State and No. 17 Missouri Southern. Three conference programs for the men also made the list, led by No. 1 Pittsburg State and No. 13 Central Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>The Drake Relays brought forth three new school records for the Tigers, starting with a third place finish for the men in the 4&#215;1600 relay with a time of 16:57.68. This marked beat the previous record which was standing since 1978. <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/3c5cdf57-859b-40a0-8100-06c85d6a96e8?elinkdata=107739\">Oscar Carmona<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/63b3371c-877d-4143-b7e7-34eca1d51ad8?elinkdata=107739\">Israel Barco<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5743ec99-194f-456d-a133-a3f9bb41a73f?elinkdata=107739\">Brett Meyer<\/a> and Seppe van&#8217;t Westende made up the record-breaking team.<\/p>\n<p>The women broke two records on the weekend in both the 4&#215;800 and the distance medley. In the 4&#215;800, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5f4a8429-1e2e-4d8b-a240-6449363db990?elinkdata=107739\">Lindsay Roberts<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/605d05fa-2d1c-4cde-85bb-2457aee628c0?elinkdata=107739\">Grace Buessing<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5965bef9-cdfe-4a8a-ad2a-f326d0d8b980?elinkdata=107739\">Lauren Roberts<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/d239f556-b9bc-4653-ab68-639909cf2f32?elinkdata=107739\">Yessenia Gonzales<\/a> sealed the 9:16.34 time, breaking a record from 2003. This time was good enough for a fifth place finish for the Tigers. In the distance medley relay, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/345ac689-d983-4d59-810e-591532b7bc66?elinkdata=107739\">Amber Forbes<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/d11cc434-3cfe-4536-a282-0a081aa82506?elinkdata=107739\">Yanoudji Diarra<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/489086cb-7409-4e15-a18d-7f3b90bdcf15?elinkdata=107739\">Sharee Zombo<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/47c55b23-c4b9-42fb-b01e-b91bc694e1b0?elinkdata=107739\">Kelly Wycoff<\/a> stormed away with a runner-up finish at 11:46.84.
