Promotions and grants of tenure will be celebrated at Fort Hays State University at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Memorial Union\u2019s Black and Gold Room.<\/p>\n
Eight faculty members were granted tenure and promoted to the listed academic rank. The changes will take affect during the next academic year.<\/p>\n
Tenured and Promoted<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr. Gordon Carlson, <\/strong>associate professor of communications. Six faculty members were promoted to the listed academic rank:<\/p>\n Promoted<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr. Rosa Maria Castaneda, <\/strong>associate professor of modern languages.
