Alan Deines, director of the Robbins Banking Institute at Fort Hays State University, has announced a contribution to the institute from Equity Bank, Andover, that will help build a computer lab.<\/p>\n
The lab will provide students with the opportunity to become familiar with and operate many of the computer systems in use by the banking industry.
\n\u201cEquity Bank is committed to the ideals of FHSU\u2019s Robbins Banking Institute,\u201d said Brad Elliott, chief executive officer of Equity Bank.
\n\u201cFor economic development to occur in the state of Kansas and the other states in which Equity does business, it\u2019s important for students to learn principles, practices, and software specific to banking that can help them become key contributors to the workforce,\u201d he said. \u201cThis Institute is committed to providing the best training possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
