The Fort Hays State women&#8217;s track and field team also achieved eight provisionals at the meet, continuing their showing in the outdoor season.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday night gave the Tigers their first top finish as three FHSU athletes swept the top spots in the 5,000-meter. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/5df13310-36e7-42f8-b33d-dccb869d29a3?elinkdata=106637\">Lindsay Roberts<\/a> claimed the event with her time of 17:57.56, with teammates <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/aa625dec-e72a-40ad-b321-4d548e085238?elinkdata=106637\">Yessenia Gonzales<\/a> (18:09.06) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/7dba1893-d55e-4a3d-aa45-5955c7efc29c?elinkdata=106637\">Lauren Roberts<\/a> (18:33.66) following close behind.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday would see eight more top finishes for the women, starting with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/541bb734-b3da-457b-af64-dcf1046deea0?elinkdata=106637\">Amber Forbes<\/a> claiming first place in the 100-meters at 11.93, a provisional mark as well as a personal best. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/44c55fd7-951a-482a-b0ca-341db7bcca6b?elinkdata=106637\">Kelly Wycoff<\/a> produced two championship performances on the day, both alongside provisional and personal bests. In the 200-meters, Wycoff defeated the field with her time of 24.08, while capping her 400-meter performance with a time of 54.95.This time sets Wycoff to the No. 2 position in Division II.<\/p>\n<p>The two Tiger relay teams earned first in their respective differences. First, the squad of Forbes, Wycoff, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/69679d0a-0b01-4d7d-a281-021160e27990?elinkdata=106637\">Yanoudji Diarra<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/ef80cf8c-c5c0-48f2-86cf-ea6673aeb788?elinkdata=106637\">Sharee Zombo<\/a> captured the 4&#215;100 with a time of 46.84, a provisional mark and personal record for the group. In the 4&#215;400 relay, Lindsay Schupe, Diarra, Forbes and Wycoff ran away from the field with their top time of 3:57.57.<\/p>\n<p>Three first place finishes were completed in field events for Fort Hays State. Leading the way was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/8bf9fbb0-f857-4202-ac34-fbe266dd867c?elinkdata=106637\">Madison Wolf<\/a> who continues her streak of winning every meet on the season, as she topped the javelin field with her provisional throw of 155 feet, 10 inches. Teammate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/services\/go.ashx\/ac627b2f-afd5-42e2-acee-cef8e57755ab?elinkdata=106637\">Alexcia Deutscher<\/a> was close behind in the runner-up position while also claiming a provisional at her distance of 143 feet, 5 inches.
