In the final game before conference play, the Tigers defeated the Warriors 90-48. With the victory, FHSU improved to 5-0 on the season. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Game Recap<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FHSU started 5-for-5 from the field and led 13-2 at the 5:58 mark. The Tigers defense also held Sterling to 11% shooting in the first five minutes. Scoring came in bunches for Fort Hays, as they led 28-8 after one. The Tigers shot over 61% from the field in the quarter, while Sterling shot 18.8%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second quarter was a similar story, and the Tigers led 41-15 with 3:20 left in the half. FHSU forced nine turnovers and led by as many as 30 in the first half. Fort Hays went into halftime ahead 48-20.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carly Heim led all scorers in the opening half with 11 points, while Emma Stroyan added 10. The Tigers also out-rebounded the Warriors 29-12.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second half was a more evenly contested match. FHSU still outscored Sterling 19-15 in the third quarter. The Tigers had a commanding 67-35 lead heading into the final quarter. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FHSU\u2019s high scoring attack continued their dominance throughout the fourth quarter with a season high 90 points. Kacey Kennett contributed with 14, while Stroyan had 12. Kyleigh Kasper led all Tigers with nine rebounds, Kennett and Legette had seven each.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FHSU shot 46.1% overall and held Sterling to 37.7% Additionally, Fort Hays out-rebounded the Warriors 56-23, including 25 on the offensive end. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Tigers led by as many as 43 on the night, had 48 points in the paint, had 32 second chance points, and forced 20 turnovers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Sterling, Jordin Greer had 13 points and Jessica Princ added 10. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Looking Ahead<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Wednesday, Sterling (4-3) will travel to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to face Oklahoma Wesleyan University (6-2).
