On Wednesday, October 4th, Resident Assistant Caroline Rae coordinated and hosted the Academic Stations event on the second floor of McMindes Hall. Six stations were organized by academic entities on the Fort Hays State University campus, including the Kelly Writing Center and Forsyth Library.<\/p>\n
Students could also win prizes through a random name drawing every ten minutes, from 6 pm to 7 pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanted to offer a lot of different stations so students know about the different resources on campus,\u201d said Rae, \u201cIt was nice to have prices that are academically-based so students utilize those tools towards their education.\u201d<\/p>\n
