KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eleven Fort Hays State student-athletes have earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award for the 2016-17 season, announced Friday (May 26) by the league office. The Academic Excellence Award goes to individuals with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point averages through at least two semesters of attendance.<\/p>\n
Award recipients include Darby Hirsch (women’s soccer), Kailey Klibbe (volleyball), Kyler Mick (wrestling), Mallory Milstead (women’s cross country\/track and field), Macy Moyers (women’s tennis), Lisa Penner (women’s cross country\/track and field), Kylee Poague (women’s track and field), Robin Ritsema (women’s basketball\/track and field), Courtney Robinson (volleyball), Jared Vitztum (men’s basketball) and Taylor White (volleyball).<\/p>\n
Kailey Klibbe and Lisa Penner are both repeat winners, maintaining their perfect GPA for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n
