At 5 pm on Saturday, May 27th, the Midland Railroad Hotel in Wilson, Kansas will kick off the summer with a release of Monarch Butterflies. \u00a0The public is invited to the release. \u00a0The hotel receives the Monarch Butterflies as chrysalis and caterpillars.<\/p>\n
Monarch Butterflies go through 4 generations before making their migratory flight south. Monarch populations have recently decreased due to lack of habitat and changing weather patterns.<\/p>\n
The Midland Railroad Hotel plans to release Monarch Butterflies every 2 weeks until Labor Day Weekend.<\/p>\n
