The RiverHawks won the match 9-0 and improved to 6-5 overall, 1-0 in the MIAA, while the Tigers went to 8-3 overall, 0-1 in the MIAA.<br \/>\nThe No. 2 doubles team of Macy Moyers and Laura Jimenez-Lendinez put up a fight early in the dual, holding a lead midway through their match with Caitlin McCullough and Easton Parker. NSU rallied late for an 8-5 win in the match. The RiverHawks took the No. 1 match 8-2 and the No. 3 match 8-1.<\/p>\n<p>In singles, Lauren Lindell provided the most resistance for the Tigers at the No. 3 position. She forced a tiebreak in the second set after falling 6-3 in the first set. However, her opponent won the tiebreak and took the match in straight sets. Nicole Lubbers was able to score six points in her No. 5 match and Moyers generated four points in her match, despite losing in straight sets as well.<\/p>\n<p>Due to forecasted temperatures, Fort Hays State will play Central Oklahoma on Saturday in Great Bend, Kan.
