The Torch Award allows Faculty to nominate graduating seniors who they deem as an outstanding member of the Tiger Community. \u00a0A committee of faculty and administration select a recipient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The criteria for the Torch Award are listed below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classroom Experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membership in organizations outside of classroom<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leadership<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Activities related to field of study or future profession<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GPA above a 3.0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To nominate an outstanding graduating senior, you must be a faculty member at Fort Hays State University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Winners will be announced and recognized on May 12th, 2017 at the Graduate\/Faculty Luncheon.<\/p>\n<p>For TMN, I&#8217;m Jordan Hester<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now is the time to start sending out nominations for Outstanding Graduating Seniors on campus at Fort Hays State University.
