The performance is free and open to all members of the Hays community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One thing that makes the Heartland Men\u2019s Chorus particularly unique is that the group is composed of all openly gay or gay sensitive members. The group\u2019s main purpose is to spread their message of acceptance and make positive contributions to the community through music.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The group was originally started in 1986 and has grown a lot in terms of membership and following since then. The group has around 150 singers, and will be bringing 65 of them to perform in Hays. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Heartland Men\u2019s Chorus has a devoted fan base around the Kansas City area, acquiring more fans with every performance.
