Ghost is a heavy metal band from Sweden known for their old school feel and occult themes. After two fairly well regarded and successful albums, I must say I have been highly anticipating the release of Meliora<\/em> and right from the get go I am not disappointed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n They have differently cranked things up a notch since their last LP. It\u2019s heavier and harder hitting while still maintaining those catchy choruses. Just like their last previous work, these songs will get stuck in your head for days on end.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unlike many bands, Ghost always likes to bring something different to each of their albums. This album is a lot more progressive and has some very thick instrumentation. You\u2019ll hear organ, strings, bells, and full choirs populated throughout Meliora<\/em>. This can get gimmicky with some bands but Ghost pulls it off perfectly. It really adds a certain flavor to each track fits in very nicely.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This album hits all the right beats and is a blast to listen to. If you haven\u2019t checked out any of Ghost\u2019s previous albums this is the perfect jumping on point.
