Fort Hays State’s Michael Kinuthia<\/a><\/dfn> won the unseeded 800-meter run and Cory Keehn<\/a><\/dfn> posted a provisional qualifying time in the 5,000-meter run at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence.<\/p>\n

Kinuthia took the unseeded 800 meters in a time of 1:53.21 seconds, topping a field of 20 runners. His time would have still been good enough to finish seventh in the seeded 800-meter run, which featured 11 runners.<\/p>\n

Keehn ran a time of 14:31.70 in the 5,000 meters to finish second in the race. His provisional qualifying time ranks him 26th nationally. He also has a provisional qualifying time in the 10,000 meters this year, which has him ranked sixth nationally. Jonny Bernasky<\/a><\/dfn> came up just shy of the provisional qualifying time in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:39.81. He finished fourth in the race.<\/p>\n

Brady Tien<\/a><\/dfn> finished 10th in the pole vault with a height of 16-feet, 2.75-inches, which hit the provisional qualifying standard. However, his best effort this season is 4.5 inches higher and he ranks eighth in the nation.<\/p>\n

TJ Dozier<\/a><\/dfn> posted the top effort of a Tiger this year in the hammer throw with a distance of 161-feet, 8-inches to finish eighth in the event. Dylan Engel<\/a><\/dfn> threw the top effort of a Tiger this year in the javelin at 187-feet, 8-inches to finish 11th in the event.<\/p>\n
