Tien was the only top-three finisher for the Tigers at the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Tien won the event with a height of 16-feet, 0.75-inches, topping a field of 18 competitors. The height is a provisional qualifying mark, but Tien&#8217;s effort earlier in the year at the UNK Loper Invite (16-feet, 7.25-inches) has him ranked fourth on the national performance list. Fellow pole vaulter <dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=2563&amp;elinkdata=44060\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"2563\">Jake Morrow<\/a><\/dfn> came up just short of the provisional qualifying standard, finishing fourth in the event with a height of 15-feet, 7-inches.<\/p>\n<p>On the track, <dfn><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhsuathletics.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=2692&amp;elinkdata=44060\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"2692\">Michael Kinuthia<\/a><\/dfn> had the highest finish for the Tigers running 1:53.68 in the 800 meters. The time was just over a second short of the provisional qualifying standard.<\/p>\n<p>Several members of the team were in action at the meet.
