{"id":19495,"date":"2015-04-07T13:30:07","date_gmt":"2015-04-07T18:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=19495"},"modified":"2015-04-07T11:35:02","modified_gmt":"2015-04-07T16:35:02","slug":"fda-questions-evidence-for-lower-risk-tobacco-product","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=19495","title":{"rendered":"FDA questions evidence for lower-risk tobacco product"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014 U.S. health regulators have questions about the data submitted by tobacco maker Swedish Match in its bid to become the first company to market a smokeless tobacco product as less harmful than cigarettes.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Food and Drug Administration scientists say they have &#8220;concerns&#8221; about how the company studied its snus tobacco product and its proposal to modify cancer warning language on the packaging.<\/p>\n<p>Snus are teabag-like pouches or loose tobacco that users stick between their cheek and gum.
