The internationally recognized a cappella group, \u201cRockapella,\u201d will perform as a part of the Encore Series on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Beach\/Schmidt Performing Arts Center on the Fort Hays State University.<\/p>\n
The five man vocal powerhouse will perform its holiday show, which the group has performed annually on tours that began in 2004. The Wednesday night performance will feature a unique twist on classic holiday tunes. The performance will feature songs such as, \u201cJingle Bell Rock\u201d and \u201cO Little Town of Bethlehem.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rockapella was born out of a love for performance on a street corner in New York City, where the group was discovered. The group served as the house band for the popular PBS Kids game show \u201cWhere in the World is Carmen Sandiego,\u201d and also appeared on Jay Leno\u2019s first New Year\u2019s Eve episode of The Tonight Show.
