{"id":14596,"date":"2014-10-22T10:59:48","date_gmt":"2014-10-22T15:59:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=14596"},"modified":"2014-10-22T17:51:24","modified_gmt":"2014-10-22T22:51:24","slug":"city-of-hays-rerouts-traffic-during-the-41st-street-reconstruction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=14596","title":{"rendered":"City of Hays rerouts traffic during the 41st street reconstruction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_206268720\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday, October 22, 2014<\/span><\/span>, Hays has announced road construction will divert traffic on the north side of town.<\/p>\n<div class=\"otw-sc-toggle\"><h3 class=\"toggle-trigger widget-title closed\">Affected Areas<span class=\"icon\"><\/span><\/h3><div class=\"toggle-content\"><p><br \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Affected streets from the city of Hays announcement<\/strong><\/p><br \/>\n<p>\u2022 41st Street will be closed west of Truman Circle and Smoky Hill Drive is closed at 41st Street<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 41st Street remains closed between Fillmore and Harrison<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 41st Street remains closed immediately east of Hall Street<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 41st Street remains closed east of Covenant Drive and Thunderbird Drive is closed at 41st Street<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 41st Street is open to local traffic from Covenant Drive to the west.<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 North and south bound traffic on Hall Street will continue to be<br \/><br \/>\nopen, but with some restriction.<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 A temporary access route has been constructed between Fillmore and Harrison to provide local access to Truman Circle<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 Access to and from areas in the Smoky Hill Drive area needs to use 45th Street out to Hall Street.<br \/><br \/>\n\u2022 Due to the change in traffic patterns, be sure to have your trash and recycling out by <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_206268721\"><span class=\"aQJ\">7:00 am<\/span><\/span> on your normal collection day since pickup route times may change from what they have been in the past.<\/p><br \/>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;These closures will last several weeks as part of the continuing project to reconstruct 41st Street from the US-183 By-pass to Hall Street.
