{"id":100252,"date":"2026-10-16T08:37:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T13:37:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=100252"},"modified":"2026-10-16T08:37:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T13:37:09","slug":"sga-conducts-regular-business-asks-for-sternberg-questions-to-direct-to-president-mason","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tigermedianet.com\/?p=100252","title":{"rendered":"SGA conducts regular business, asks for Sternberg questions to direct to President Mason"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By ABIGAIL SHEARER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tiger Media Network<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Hays State\u2019s Student Government Association met for its regular meeting on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the executive report, President Marcell Delly gave an update on Sternberg questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPresident Mason told us that she will meet with the executive staff to address our questions,\u201d he said.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with questions about Sternberg Museum is directed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhsu.edu\/sga\/committees\">email any member of the SGA executive staff.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three new members were installed during the meeting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In new business, one bill and one resolution were up for first reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.F.120 proposed that the Public Relations Student Society of America move $2,746.51 between different line items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resolution No. 26.F.101 proposed appointing Haley Joe Bega, Echo Clark Pavlovich, Wyatt Amlong, and Hugo Lopez Arteaga to the Education Opportunity Fund Committee for the 2026-2027 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During old business, the Senate voted on one bill.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26. F. 119 proposed that the Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers move $725 from the line-item \u201cSDMS Conference Registration\u201d to the line-item \u201cSDMS Airfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill was passed unanimously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SGA will reconvene at 7 p.m. next Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Announcements:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>History Club is hosting a Halloween history talk at 5:30 p.m. on October 21.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fall Fest on October 22.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From 1:30-2:30 p.m. on October 22 in Albertson Hall, the SLP department is hosting a snack-and-chat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ROAR Board is hosting two showings of Project Hail Mary on Saturday and Sunday and selling tickets in office 208.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FHSU Department of Theatre is showing Antigone on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By ABIGAIL SHEARER Tiger Media Network Fort Hays State\u2019s Student Government Association met for its regular meeting on Thursday.
