Rockers will represent the Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In New Business, 12 new bills were up for first reading, including proposed changes to student credit hour fees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.126 proposes a Sigma Alpha line-item change to move $82.70 from line item \u201cLeadership Seminar Registration\u201d to line item \u201cLeadership Seminar Hotel\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S. 127 proposes increasing the Parking Fee by $0.30 per credit hour, bringing the overall fee to $1.82 per credit hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.128 proposes increasing the Tiger Media Network Fee by $0.24 per credit hour, bringing the overall fee to $2.80 per credit hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.129 proposes increasing the Memorial Union Fee by $0.90 per credit hour, bringing the overall fee to $6.53 per credit hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.130 proposes that the Campus Intramurals Fee increase by $0.02 per credit hour, bringing the overall fee to 0.98 per credit hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.131 proposes reducing the Educational Opportunity Fund Fee by $0.12 per credit hour, bringing the overall fee to $0.50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No.26.S.132 proposes that the Athletic Bands Fee be reduced by $0.67 per credit hour, making the overall fee to $1.25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No.26.S.133 proposes keeping student fees the same for the Tiger Fitness Center ($1.13), Public Safety ($0.00), Student Engagement ($2.01), Civic Engagement ($0.56), Food and Hunger Initiative ($0.39), Health and Wellness ($5.98), and Student Government Association ($0.66).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No.26.S.134 proposes combining the $11.97 Athletics fee and the $0.24 Tiger Debs fee to a total of $12.21 per credit hour. Additionally, &nbsp;Bill No.26.S.135 proposes increasing the Athletic Fee by $1.66 per credit hour to bring the overall fee to $13.87 per credit hour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Senate passes the proposed increase, the student body will vote to approve or deny the increase request. All requests over $1.00 must be approved by a student-body vote.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.136 proposes that, in fiscal year 2027, $250,000 be transferred from the Allocations Fund to the Memorial Union Cost Center for a new roof for the building. If at the beginning of fiscal year 2029 the previously moved $250,000 is still in the account, the bill proposes that an additional $250,000 be moved from the Allocations Fund to the Memorial Union Cost Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill reads as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe Legislative and Political Action Committee recommends that in the fiscal year of 2027, $250,000 be moved from the Allocations Fund to the Memorial Union Cost Center to be used only for a new roof for the building.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That if at the beginning of fiscal year 2029, the previously moved $250,000 is still in the account,&nbsp; an additional $250,000 be moved into the Memorial Union Cost Center from the Allocations Fund.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No.26.S.137 proposes that the Agronomy Business Club\u2019s Allocated Amounts be adjusted to $5,562.50 due to the trip being canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill No. 26.S.138 proposes an AIGA line-item Change that \u201cKansas City First Fridays\u201d be moved to the creation of a new line item, \u201cDenver Spring Trip,\u201d keeping the same distribution for each respective line item. This would move $1,014.40 in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These bills will be up for a vote after Spring Break.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Old Business, senators voted on six bills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill Model UN, Pi Alpha Theta, Fort Hays Honor Society, SAE, Interior Design, Rodeo, and Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to ask what line item(s) they would like the extra allocated money to go toward.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After those groups shared where they wanted the funds to go and another 10-minute recess, the following changes to the bill were proposed:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul item \u201c2026 International Career Development Conference Airfare\u201d to the line item \u201c2026 International Career Development Conference Hotel.\u201d It passed unanimously.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Announcements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sign-up projects for the Big Event are live and <a
