Costumed kids made their way door-to-door in a safe, family-friendly environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2025 Hays Trick-or-Treat on the Bricks\" width=\"790\" height=\"444\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Gik0HDCC3KU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Local employees said the event is one of the most anticipated traditions of the year for downtown businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been telling my clients all week how fun it is,\u201d said Brickhouse Day Spa employee Madison Studer. \u201cI love handing out candy, seeing the costumes, and hearing kids say \u2018trick or treat.\u2019 It\u2019s such a great way to see the community come together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Custom Creations employee Kiernan McCarty said that nearly every business participates in the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMost of the businesses I know downtown are doing this right now,\u201d McCarty said. \u201cIt\u2019s such an awesome way to role=\"button\"><\/a><div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_pagination swiper-pagination swiper-pagination-white\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Furniture Look employee Connor Harris said his favorite part of the afternoon was seeing the creativity in the costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a lot of fun watching all the kids walk by,\u201d Harris said. \u201cI\u2019d definitely do this again next year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers also played an important role in keeping the event running smoothly.
