Their interaction with supporters comes after winning the 2024 NBC World Series Championship, a title they will defend this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" thing we all get to do and be a part of,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re all thankful that we\u2019re here at Hays, and we\u2019re excited to be a part of the community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rewarding moment he has with the community is when he gives younger fans a special occasion to remember by singing their baseball gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s amazing,\u201d Jones said. \u201cYou see everyone smile and greet you, and they act like you\u2019re one of their own. It\u2019s an awesome feeling, and getting to know that we mean something to all these kids is amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jones is optimistic about the Larks&#8217; upcoming season, which begins with a road game against the Dodge City A\u2019s this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re all excited,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have a good group of guys, and after what we did last year, I feel like we can make a big impact again and have a great year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Larks will also play the A\u2019s in their home opener at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Larks Park.
