Intramural Graduate Assistant Tre Pauda explained further.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a good event for a good purpose,\u201d Pauda said. \u201cIt&#8217;s to give students a little taste of Pauda explains exactly how the event, and Intramural events as a whole, affect students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt affects them in a good way,\u201d he said. \u201cEspecially those who haven\u2019t carved in a while or just haven\u2019t gotten to go out and celebrate Halloween. It really does affect them in a positive way.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from the snacks Intramural hands out whenever they host their annual events, Pauda gives some more reasons why it\u2019s good for students who have attended.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just the interaction,\u201d Pauda said. \u201cJust being able to meet new people, celebrate Halloween, and just have fun.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the pumpkin carving and the many other events Intramurals are hosting to celebrate Halloween, Pauda explained just what the organization is hoping to accomplish with these scheduled events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe really want more people to participate,\u201d Pauda said. \u201cWe\u2019re specifically focusing on Halloween right now, but in general, I\u2019m hoping we can just get more numbers and get our program out there. We like to help people out and get them out of their dorms and away from their stressors in life.
