The 2023 Lunar New Year will begin on Sunday, and this year is the year of the Rabbit. Lunar New Year marks the beginning of a lunar calendar and is one of the biggest Chinese holidays. The Chinese Student Association at FHSU shared some fun traditions associated with the celebration with students on Thursday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were taught how to make homemade Chinese dumplings. Each table had the ingredients: meat filling, wrapper, flour, and dough to try it out.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Once the dumplings were made they were taken to the cooking station\nwhere they were boiled.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Chinese Student Association members are working hard on the homemade dumpling wrappers for everyone.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Guests were able to see a live step-by-step tutorial on how to\nfold the dumpling wrapper and make wontons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
