Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan\u2019s Purse, which is an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide people around the world with Christmas gift shoeboxes.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These shoeboxes contain hygiene products, small toys, and school supplies and serve as hope for children and the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. The boxes are shipped to children outside of the United States who have been affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, famine, and disease. They are also sent to children living on Native American reservations in the United States.

In order to help with this project, Leadership students have partnered with Operation Christmas Child. They are going to package two hundred boxes to send to children in other countries. The boxes will serve as a Christmas present to these children. They will contain hygiene products, school supplies, and a \u201cwow\u201d item. The \u201cwow\u201d items will be small toys like dolls or cars.

The purpose of this project is to help Leadership students expand their knowledge of leadership and leadership skills. This project also serves as a good way to help children in need around the world.

\u201cI am looking forward to this project,\u201d Leadership Student A Ramos said. \u201cThis project is a great way for me to help others around the world.\u201d

The Leadership team is looking for donations for their \u201cwow\u201d items. They will be tabling at home football game on November 9th from 12-2 pm. If you would like to help package these boxes, the team will be in the Stouffer Lounge on November 19th from 12-2 p.m.
