The National Weather Service in Dodge City is calling for\ncold temperatures and snow to start out the week. Highs are forecast to remain\nnear or below freezing through Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Light snow showers are expected today, with up to an inch of\naccumulation possible in far western Kansas and west-central Kansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The heaviest snow today will be west of a WaKeeney to Lakin\nline. While widespread travel issues are not expected, the NWS is urging drivers\nto be cautious on untreated and secondary roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More light snow is expected Tuesday night into Thursday\nmorning. Another inch of accumulation could be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There also is an elevated ice risk Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
