Monday night, a crowd of theatre and literature lovers gathered in Professor\u2019s Sandwich Shop for dinner and a one-night performance of Edgar Allan<\/em>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening began with a dinner of pasta, salad, garlic bread, and chocolate zucchini cake. As guests ate, they watched a performance of traveling bluegrass musician Willi Carlisle.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After dinner, the performance began.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edgar Allan<\/em> tells a dark and fictionalized account of American poet Edgar Allan Poe during his formative years.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audience laughed along with the musical comedy as young Edgar sang, drank, and fought his way to domination of his boarding school, only to meet his match in a fellow student named Edgar Allan.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edgar Allen <\/em>is a production by and starring Katie Hartman and Nick Ryan of The Coldharts<\/a>, a touring company based out of Brooklyn, New York.
