HAYS, Kan. — Graphic design students at Fort Hays State University have stayed busy this spring, participating in three regional competitions.<\/p>\n
33 students also submitted their work to the 22nd Annual Leo Burnett Portfolio Review. Ten students received awards:<\/p>\n
Ashton Butler<\/strong>, Wamego junior, received a Second Place Portfolio award.<\/p>\n Camille Caron-Bedard<\/strong>, Hays senior, received a Leo Burnett Award and was offered a summer internship.<\/p>\n Leonardo Cleto<\/strong>, Hays junior, received a First Place Portfolio award and was offered a summer internship.<\/p>\n Emily Hendricks<\/strong>, Burlington, Colo., senior, received a Third Place Portfolio award.<\/p>\n Steven Johnson<\/strong>, Wichita senior, received a Leo Burnett Award.<\/p>\n Lindsay Naegele<\/strong>, Hays senior, received a Leo Burnett Award.<\/p>\n Clay Peppiatt<\/strong>, Salina junior, received a Leo Burnett Award.<\/p>\n Amy Smarsh Johnson<\/strong>, Colwich senior, received a First Place Portfolio award.<\/p>\n Ryan Stuckey<\/strong>, Abbyville junior, received a Third Place Portfolio award.<\/p>\n A 10th FHSU student, who wished not to be named, received a Second Place Portfolio award.<\/p>\n The graphic design students ended their season in Wichita, where 17 students received portfolio reviews from area professionals and competed for awards.
